canadian artist linda yuki nakanishi was inspired to create this poster by the hope that she holds in her heart for japan's future.

"this poster represents the resilience of the japanese people. the lotus symbolizes birth and rebirth...the lotus is a flower that is born from the mud of the earth, fights its way through the depths of the water to bloom into the air and sunlight. this is how I view japan..."

linda yuki nakanishi will be donating all proceeds from the poster to the canadian red cross, and design milk will be donating all march profits from their design milk dairy collection to the red cross as well.
